December at Dya Aus: Mirrors

If perspective shapes decisions, are you seeing
the full picture?

December has a way of slowing things down. As the year wraps up, many of us start thinking about what worked, what didn’t, and what we want to carry forward. That makes it the perfect time to focus on Mirrors.

This month at Dya, we use creative, hands-on activities to help teams reflect in a practical and human way. We explore how emotions shape decisions, how different viewpoints strengthen collaboration, and how curiosity opens the door to better ideas. Inspiration comes from thinkers like Leonardo da Vinci, who believed that changing how you look at something often changes what you understand.

Mystery Mirrors – Education Program

Mirror games and kaleidoscope creation! Students will dive into the magical world of reflections and optical illusions. They will solve puzzles involving shape and colour duplication based on symmetry principles. Through scientific games, they will explore challenges in physics and mathematics. This hands-on investigative experience nurtures innovative thinking

From Head to Toe – Corporate Program

Head to Toe is a unique creative wellbeing program for employees that blends visual art with personal reflection to foster mindfulness, self-expression, and connection. Designed for corporate teams, this hands-on experience explores different aspects of the body as symbols of strength, balance, and identity. Through guided artistic activities, participants gain a deeper awareness of their emotions, develop problem-solving skills, and enhance overall wellbeing in an engaging and supportive setting.

We use creative workshops as a chance to slow things down and look again. Art helps teams notice what usually gets missed — the assumptions, the patterns, the different viewpoints in the room. When people take that time, conversations open up and understanding grows.

December encourages us to pause before moving forward. When we take time to truly see ourselves and each other, better decisions and stronger connections follow.
