L&D growth mindset workshop

A leadership development workshop using creativity to build growth mindset, adaptability, and forward-thinking team culture.

A creative workshop to build a learning, adaptable mindset at work

WHY TEAMS CHOOSE THIS TYPE OF WORK

Organisations choose this workshop when they want people to respond to challenge, change and feedback with curiosity rather than defensiveness. It is aimed at leaders and staff who are being asked to grow into new responsibilities, adopt new ways of working or innovate under pressure. The focus is on strengthening the mindset behind effective problem solving: the willingness to try, reflect, adjust and keep learning.

HOW WE SHAPE IT WITH YOU

We begin by understanding how growth mindset is currently talked about in your organisation, and where it is most needed: leadership programs, coaching, performance conversations, project work or everyday collaboration. Together, we identify real situations where fixed thinking tends to show up and design creative tasks around them. The workshop is then tailored to align with your L&D goals, so it reinforces the language, frameworks and behaviours you are already working to embed.

WHAT IT CAN LOOK LIKE IN PRACTICE

A session might include visual exercises that contrast fixed and growth responses to the same scenario, creative mapping of personal learning journeys, or collaborative pieces that explore how teams handle mistakes and new ideas. Participants use drawing and simple imagery to slow their thinking down, notice their automatic reactions and experiment with different choices. The aim is for them to leave with a concrete felt sense of what a growth mindset looks like in action, and how to apply it in their own leadership and work.

What Australian Teams Say

FAQ

Most corporate workshops run for 90 minutes to 2.5 hours, depending on the program and your schedule. Some activities can be adapted into shorter “creative reset” sessions, while others work best as half-day or full-day experiences. When you enquire, we will recommend a duration that fits your aims and the flow of your event.

We work with small teams through to large groups. Each program has a recommended range for group size, which you’ll see in the program details. If your numbers sit outside that range, let us know and we can suggest formats or adjustments that will still give everyone a good experience.

No. Our corporate workshops are designed for people who do not see themselves as creative. Instructions are clear and step by step, and the focus is on the process and connection rather than on producing a “perfect” artwork. Many participants are surprised by how comfortable and enjoyable it feels once they get started.

Most programs can run at our Port Melbourne studio or at your workplace. Some can also be delivered at offsite venues or adapted for online and hybrid formats. The program page outlines the main options, and we can talk through what is realistic for your team size, budget and location.

We supply all art materials and facilitation for the creative activity. If the workshop is at our studio, you simply confirm numbers and any access needs. For sessions at your workplace or another venue, we usually ask for tables, chairs, access to water and protection for surfaces if needed. We will go through any specific requirements with you during planning.

Yes. Many of our corporate workshops can be customised to reflect your values, event theme or current focus areas such as wellbeing, collaboration, leadership or change. Some programs are more structured than others, but there is usually room to adapt framing, reflection prompts or visual elements so the session speaks directly to your context.

Absolutely. Our programs often sit within larger events as an energiser, connector or deeper reflective element. We can work with you to position the workshop at the right point in your agenda and match the tone to the rest of the day, whether you need something light and social or more focused on leadership and culture.

For popular dates and larger groups, it is best to book several weeks in advance. However, we can sometimes accommodate shorter lead times, especially for weekday sessions. If you have a specific date in mind, contact us as soon as possible and we will let you know what is available and which programs can work.

While each program is different, common outcomes include stronger connection between colleagues, improved communication, fresh ways of thinking about challenges and a clearer sense of shared purpose. For Trained and Lead programs, there is often additional focus on soft skills such as collaboration, decision-making, psychological safety or leadership mindset.

Pricing depends on group size, program type, location and any customisation. Many workshops are charged per person with a minimum spend. When you share your details and preferences, we will send a clear quote outlining inclusions, options and any additional costs such as venue hire or catering if relevant.
