Where Does Inspiration Begin?
Inspiration often begins with a moment of observation. It can emerge from nature, a conversation, a work of art, or an unexpected question. When we slow down and pay attention, we begin to notice patterns, possibilities, and connections that spark creativity and new ways of thinking.
This month, we explore how inspiration fuels creativity, learning, and innovation. Through observation, curiosity, and creative exploration, individuals discover new ideas and fresh perspectives that can influence how they think, create, and engage with the world around them.
At Dya, inspiration is not something we wait for. It is something we actively cultivate through creative experiences that encourage us to observe more deeply, question assumptions, and remain open to possibility.
Inventions from Nature

Students discover how nature inspires innovation by exploring the connections between observation, science, and creativity. Through hands-on investigation and creative problem solving, they develop curiosity, flexible thinking, and an appreciation for how ideas from the natural world can lead to meaningful invention.
Art From Earth

Inspired by the textures, colours, and materials found in nature, students create artworks that celebrate the environment through creative exploration. By observing the natural world and working with organic materials, they develop imagination, environmental awareness, and creative confidence.

We use creative workshops as a way to explore how inspiration emerges and grows. Art creates opportunities to observe, reflect, and engage with ideas from new perspectives. Through creativity, individuals develop curiosity, confidence, and a greater awareness of the possibilities around them.
June reminds us that inspiration is often found in unexpected places. Whether drawn from nature, creative expression, or everyday experiences, inspiration encourages us to remain curious, open-minded, and willing to explore new ways of thinking.
